Privacy Policy

How we handle personal data on the Julia website and platform.

Last updated: May 21, 2026

1. Who we are

The Julia platform (https://soujulia.com.br) is operated by Julia Tecnologia Ltda., registered under 67.048.957/0001-89, with its registered office at Alameda dos Nhambiquaras, 1170, Indianópolis, São Paulo/SP, CEP 04090-002, Brasil. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

2. What we collect

  • Contact and account data: name, phone number (WhatsApp), email, role at the practice, specialty.
  • Usage data: IP address, browser type, pages visited, campaign parameters, referrer, date and time of access.
  • Operational data (customers only): WhatsApp messages exchanged through the platform, appointments, patient data you enter into the platform, and billing data.

When you enter your patients' data into the platform, you act as the controller of that information and Julia acts as a processor on your behalf.

3. How we use it

  • To provide and support the service you signed up for;
  • To respond to contact and demo requests;
  • To send product updates and marketing communications (always with an opt-out);
  • To meet legal, accounting, and tax obligations;
  • To prevent fraud, keep the service secure, and improve it;
  • To measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.

4. Legal bases

Depending on where you live, data protection laws such as the GDPR, the CCPA, or Brazil's LGPD may apply to you. We process personal data based on: performance of a contract (providing the service), consent (marketing communications and non-essential cookies), legal obligations, and our legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, and service improvement), always respecting your rights.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with vendors needed to run the service, under confidentiality obligations. Examples: cloud infrastructure providers, messaging providers (Meta/WhatsApp), payment processors, analytics tools, and public authorities when required by law.

6. International transfers

Some of our vendors are located in other countries. When data crosses borders, we take steps to ensure the recipient provides an adequate level of protection under applicable law.

7. Retention

We keep data for as long as needed for the purposes described here or as required by law. Data from prospects who do not become customers is kept for up to 24 months; customer data is kept for the duration of the contract and afterwards as required for legal purposes.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request: confirmation that we process your data, access to it, correction, deletion, portability, restriction of or objection to processing, and withdrawal of consent. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, write to privacidade@soujulia.com.br.

9. Security

We use technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), permission-based access control, monitoring, and periodic backups. If a security incident creates a relevant risk to you, we will notify you and the competent authorities within the legally required timeframes.

10. Contact

Our privacy contact is Cristiano Guerra Fernandes, reachable at privacidade@soujulia.com.br. For general questions, write to contato@soujulia.com.br.
